Jakarta as the capital of the Republic of Indonesia (a country which has counts and plays a major role in the Southeast Asian region) is "the city that never sleep!". While the population in 2019 according data from the Central Statistics Agency is +/- 10.5 million people. The city has divided into 5 regions (Central, East, West, North & South) led by a Governor. The surrounding small towns are known as "Jabodetabek" or (Jakarta itself, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi). As the center of economy, business and culture, Jakarta attracts many tourists to stop by and get to know the city more deeply.

You can also combine a visit to Jakarta with the city of Bandung (the nearest tourist city destination) which is only 120 km via the toll road (highway), with an overnight stay in the city of Bekasi as a buffer city.
